Size is your only restriction (maximum space is 48”x 48” if you wish to have an unusual poster shape). Storyboards often include an introduction to the project, outlines of the analysis and methods used, data collected, results, and a conclusion.\nStoryboards will be placed up at the beginning of the JCC Pre-Forum day at an assigned spot. Attendees can view storyboards throughout the day as they transition between sessions or during mealtimes. At the end of the day, during the storyboard reception, you’re asked to stand with your storyboard to network, answer questions, and receive feedback on your work from other participants.\nThere is an opportunity for all attendees to vote for the People’s Choice Storyboard Award and the Emcees get to choose the JCC Co-Chairs Storyboard Award. These awards are presented onsite at the end of the Storyboard Reception.\nPresentation Format:\nPlease note that workshops and rapid-fire presentations will be selected by the Joint Collaborative Committee that funds your project.\nIf you wish to be considered for a workshop or rapid-fire, please contact the specific committee directly:\n\n\n\nFamily Practice Services Committee (FPSC) – fpsc@doctorsofbc.ca ( mailto:fpsc@doctorsofbc.ca )\nSpecialist Services Committee (SSC) – sscbc@doctorsofbc.ca ( mailto:sscbc@doctorsofbc.ca )\nShared Care Committee (SCC) – shared_care@doctorsofbc.ca ( mailto:shared_care@doctorsofbc.ca )\nJoint Standing Committee or Rural Issues (JSC) – RuralPrograms@DoctorsofBC.ca ( mailto:RuralPrograms@DoctorsofBC.ca )\n\n\n\nPlease note that registration for the event will open in February 2024.\nWhat is the JCC Pre-Forum?\nEach year, the Joint Collaborative Committees (JCCs), a partnership between Doctors of BC and the BC government, hosts the JCC Pre-Forum. Over the past seven years, the JCCs have collaborated with Health Quality BC (HQBC) (formally BC Patient Safety & Quality Council’s Quality Forum) to highlight the diverse and varied work of the Joint Collaborative Committees, and to recognize the work being accomplished by our partnerships with other health care colleagues.\nThe day is spent sharing the many successes and challenges that will inform future QI initiatives, with the goal of inspiring others to get involved or to initiate their own QI projects to support ongoing health care improvements.\nThe funding and support from all the Joint Collaborative Committees enables the Rural Coordination Centre of BC, divisions of family practice, and medical staff associations to enhance patient care and improve professional satisfaction of doctors in BC.\n
