Doctors of BC acknowledges that our organization is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, whose strong relationship with their territories continues today. Our employees, who are located throughout BC, work and live on many different Indigenous territories throughout the province.

Acknowledging that we are on the traditional territories of First Nations communities is an expression of cultural humility and involves recognizing our duty and desire to support the provision of culturally safe care to First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people in BC.
